Karen Koppel

Karen Koppel is the current Oregon/SW Washington CCIM Chapter President. This is a big deal. It means she oversees one of the largest organizations in the northwest dedicated, with dozens of members, to providing high caliber, professional, and ethical commercial brokerage services. Karen is a full-hearted person who brings care, compassion, a deep skill set, and dedication to her clients and community.

Karen’s unique background as a seasoned professional commercial broker, as an architect who helped develop venues for the Olympics and Paralympics in Salt Lake City and Vancouver, BC, and as a member of various charitable organization boards over the past decades, allows her to engage with clients using a supportive, community-focused, and collaborative approach. More specifically, Karen has helped chart courses for nonprofit organizations as a board member, consultant, and real estate broker that assure their financial fortitude, in order for them to continue providing vital services to the communities they serve.

Karen focuses on sales and leasing of retail, office, medical and industrial real estate. Her transaction history is steeped in the facilitation of very meaningful outcomes for all parties to the transactions, including deals for which she has been awarded the Oregon Transaction of the Year. She sums up her approach to commercial real estate as follows:

“My CCIM training and experience coupled with my previous career as a licensed architect, give me the skills to envision what your property can be, maximize your return on investment, optimize the value of your real estate whether it’s a sale or lease, and negotiate a rewarding and beneficial outcome. As a natural born problem solver, I’ll delve into your goals, dig deep into understanding the property details, and provide an in-depth financial and market analysis to ensure an appropriate match for you, with win-win results always the objective. And I love learning about clients’ needs, wants, and dreams, and what they are pursuing to improve our communities.” To reach Karen, email karenk@alignedcre.com or call 541-678-2924.
